Disaster Recovery Service Model
Mirroring model Recovery period:
(within 0~1 hour)
  • Establishment of a backup data center that has a system identical to that of the main data center
  • Real-time data updates between the main data center and the backup data center for rapid recovery in the event of a disaster
  • Real-time remote recovery of main data, systems, and applications (for partial data loss)
  • Able to conduct limited day-to-day business from the backup center
HOT model Recovery period:
(within 4 hour)
  • In addition to the backup facility itself, hardware will also be ready at the site in a deactivated state
  • Regular distribution of main DB tapes (stored in on-site safe or remotely stored)
  • Regular real-time data transmissions for data recovery up to the time of the disaster
  • Regularly conducted recovery tests
WARM model Recovery period:
(multiple days~multiple weeks)
  • In addition to the backup facilities, hardware will be acquired through contracts with supply companies
  • Regular, periodic distribution of main DB tapes (stored in on-site safe or remotely stored)
  • Basic equipment installation and recovery possible in the event of a disaster
  • Shorter installation time as compared to a Cold Site
COLD model Recovery period:
(multiple weeks~multiple months)
  • Acquisition of predetermined backup site with space, equipment, and network for the installation of the recovery system
  • In the event of a disaster, installation of main equipment such as the main system and related devices
  • Regular distribution of main DB tapes (stored in on-site safe or remotely stored)
